Had a great time tonight. Happy to hear the different opinions and we still respect each other in the end. I appreciate Townsend's efforts but I can not think of any body of work that I can say I enjoyed from him. But as we discussed this evening it is not his responsibilty to entertain or please 'me'. His responsibility is to use the gift he has blessed with.
ReplyDeleteThank you Karla for your comment. We really did have a good time and I love our discussions. I have recieved some mixed feelings about Townsend's work. Personally, I love The Five Hearbeats! And, really, Meteor Man! I know, I know. But, he is a black superhero!
